What is CSS:-

       CSS का पूरा नाम Cascading Style Sheet ) है। यह एक Scripting Language) है जिसका use  वेबसाइट को सुन्दर और आकर्षक बनाने के लिए किया जाता है।  इसका इस्तेमाल वेब डिज़ाइनर और प्रोग्रामर के द्वारा HTML वेबसाइट में color, font, animation, और size को insert और change करने के लिए किया जाता है।

      10 अक्टूबर 1994 को Håkon Wium Lie ने CSS को Developed किया था और CSS को Proper way मे maintance के लिए W3C – World Wide Web Consortium के अंदर एक Perfect group बनाया गया जिसका नाम CSS working group रखा गया। 1996 में सबसे पहले CSS वर्जन को बनाया गया था।

नोट:- CSS का Extension .css होता है।

Introduction to CSS:-

                  Cascading style sheet is a set of formatting rules that control appearance of contents on web page. It is a kind of programming language also where developed program is called style sheet.

                  CSS is an abbreviation for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS works with HTML and other Markup Languages (such as XHTML and XML) to control the way the content is presented. Cascading Style Sheets is a means to separate the appearance of a webpage from the content of a webpage. CSS is a recommendation of the World Wide Web consortium (the W3C).

      CSS is a small computer language designed and developed to simplify the process of making web pages presentable. CSS allows us to create new designed styles and apply to web pages. CSS enables us to create style sheets independent of the HTML that makes up each web page. CSS is easy to learn and understand but provides powerful control over the presentation of an HTML document.
