क्लाइंट किसी कम्प्यूटर या कम्प्यूटर प्रोग्राम को कहते हैं, जो किसी और कम्प्यूटर (सर्वर) द्वारा प्रदत्त सेवाओ का use करता है। क्लाइंट सामान्यतः किसी साझा (Public) नेटवर्क के resources का use करता है और उसे सर्वर द्वारा स्वयं को प्रामाणिकृत (Authenticate) कराना पड़ता है। एक सर्वर कई अलग अलग क्लायन्टों को service दे सकता है और एक क्लायन्ट कई अलग अलग सर्वरों की service ले सकता है। क्लायन्ट और सर्वर निजि (Private) नेटवर्को में भी हो सकते हैं। सरल शब्दों में कहा जाए तो, आपके द्वारा अपने कंप्यूटर या मोबाइल डिवाइस पर उपयोग किए जाने वाले ब्राउज़र वेब क्लाइंट हैं

Web Browsing Software (Web Client)

Web browser is known as web client that interpreted display web pages. A variety of commercial and free web browsers are available in the market like MS Internet Explorer, MS Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox Opera, Safari Netscape Navigator Mosaic etc. Web browsing is a kind of software which is used to access the web contents. This kind of software is used at the client side. This contains various tools which are used to navigate the web contents. We need to type the address (URL) of the website at the address bar (URL) in the web browser and this will let you reach to the home page (Default) of the website.
