WWW

WWW का पूरा नाम World Wide Web है। यह इन्टरनेट की एक सर्विस है जिसे W3 या वेब भी कहा जाता है वर्ल्ड वाइड वेब दुनियाभर के वेबसाइट के एड्रेस का कलेक्शन है। वर्ल्ड वाइड वेब का अविष्कार टिम बर्नर्स ली (Tim Berners Lee) ने 1989 में किया था, इसलिए टिम बर्नर्स ली को WWW का जनक कहा जाता है। जिसके द्वारा HTML में बनाये गए विभिन्न प्रकार के document आपस में Hyperlink के माध्यम से जुड़े होते है। ये HTML डॉक्यूमेंट अर्थात web page में विभिन्न प्रकार के इमेज, टेक्स्ट, ऑडियो और विडियो फाइल से बने होते है।

• The concept of WWW was developed in Switzerland at the European Particle Research Centre (known as CERN), in the year 1989. The first prototype was operational in 1991. In the month of December 1991.
