   memoryके आधार पर इसे दो भागों में divide किया जा सकता है:-

external memory microcontroller :- इस माइक्रो कंट्रोलर में Program Memory इसके अंदर Embedded नहीं होते है। इस माइक्रो कंट्रोलर को जिस भी डिवाइस में लगाया जाता है उस डिवाइस में Separate अलग से Program Memory लगायी जाती है जिस कारण इस टाइप के माइक्रोकंट्रोलर को External Memory Microcontroller कहा जाता है। example के लिए:- intel 8031.

On the basis of memory it can be divided into two parts:-

external memory microcontroller :- In this microcontroller, program memory is not embedded inside it. In whatever device this microcontroller is installed, separate program memory is installed in that device, due to which this type of microcontroller is called External Memory Microcontroller.
