Microcontroller:-

           Microcontroller एक छोटा और बहुत ही सस्ता microcomputer होता है जिसको embedded system के विशेष कार्यों को perform करने के लिए design किया जाता हैजैसे कि – microwave की सूचना को डिस्प्ले करने, एवं remote signal को receive करने के लिए आदि।

         माइक्रोकंट्रोलर एक integrated circuit (IC) है जिसका प्रयोग electronic system के अन्य भागों को control करने के लिए किया जाता है एक सामान्य माइक्रो-कंट्रोलर में processor, serial ports, memory (RAM, ROM, EPROM) तथा peripherals होते हैं माइक्रो कंट्रोलर को embedded controller भी कहते है।

         इनका प्रयोग गाड़ियों में, medical equipment’s (उपकरणों) में, robots, vending मशीन, एवं घरेलु उपकरणों आदि में किया जाता है।
