Proximity Sensor:-

           यह ऐसा सेंसर होता है जो बिना स्पर्श में आये ही वस्तु को डिटेक्ट कर लेता है। इसलिए इसे नॉन टच सेंसर कहा जाता है। यह मुख्य रूप से दुरी मापने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। जिस वस्तु की दुरी मापना होता है उस वस्तु को टारगेट कहा जाता है। इस सेंसर में IR किरण का उपयोग किया जाता है।  यह सेंसर स्मार्टफोन, टैबलेट कंप्यूटर, मशीनों, रोबोट सिस्टम और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों इत्यादि में अधिकतर उपयोग किया जाता है।

यह कई प्रकार की हो सकती है जैसे- Capacitive Proximity Sensors, Inductive Proximity Sensors, Magnetic Proximity Sensors, Photoelectric Sensors, Ultrasonic Sensors

Proximity Sensor:-

          It is a sensor that detects an object without coming in contact with it. That’s why it is called non touch sensor. It is mainly used to measure distance. The object whose distance is to be measured is called target. IR ray is used in this sensor. This sensor is mostly used in smartphones, tablet computers, machines, robot systems and electronic devices etc.
