1. Bluetooth:- यह एक वायरलेस एरिया नेकवर्क (WPAN) प्रोटोकॉल है जिसे ब्लूटूथ स्पेशल ग्रुप (SIG) द्वारा डिजाइन किया गया है। Bluetooth networking के मामले में low power radio waves के माध्यम से data को communicate करता है। यह 45 GHz frequency पर communicate करता है।

2. BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy):- इसे कम बिजली खपत के लिए designed किया गया है। इसे Bluetooth SIG द्वारा December 2009 में Bluetooth 4.0 के रूप में पेश किया गया है।
