Internet of Things का अविष्कार:-

सन 1982 में कार्नेगी मेलन यूनिवर्सिटी की एक लैब में शोधकर्ताओं ने कोक मशीन को इंटरनेट से जोड़ा था या मशीन अपने भीतर रखे गए पेय पदार्थ की बोतलों की संख्या का हिसाब एवं उसके तापमान को भी मापने सक्षम थी. यह अपने आप में सबसे पहला इंटरनेट कनेक्टेड डिवाइस था.

आईओटी शब्द का पहली बार अविष्कार पी एंड जी, जो कि बाद में MIT ऑटो आईडी सेंटर में केविन असटन के द्वारा सन 1999 में किया गया. रिसर्च आर्टिकल जिसमें आई ओ टी के बारे में बताया गया था उसको पहली बार नार्वे में नार्डिक रिसर्चर्स की कॉन्फ्रेंस में जून 2002 में प्रस्तुत किया गया था. जोकि सन 2008-09 में बहुत ही अधिक चर्चित रहा.

Invention of Internet of Things:-

In 1982, researchers in a lab at Carnegie Mellon University connected a Coke machine to the Internet and the machine was able to count the number of beverage bottles kept inside it and also measure its temperature. This in itself was the first internet connected device.

The term IoT was first coined by P&G in 1999, later by Kevin Aston at the MIT Auto ID Center. The research article describing IoT was first presented at the Nordic Researchers Conference in Norway in June 2002. Which was very popular in the year 2008-09.
