Application Layer
एप्लीकेशन लेयर OSI model का सातवाँ (सबसे Top( लेयर है। एप्लीकेशन लेयर का मुख्य कार्य हमारी वास्तविक एप्लीकेशन तथा अन्य लेयरों के मध्य interface कराना है। एप्लीकेशन लेयर end user के सबसे नजदीक होती है। इस लेयर के अंतर्गत HTTP, FTP, SMTP तथा NFS आदि प्रोटोकॉल आते है। यह लेयर यह कंट्रोल करती है कि कोई भी एप्लीकेशन किस प्रकार नेटवर्क से access करती है

Application Layer
The application layer is the seventh (topmost) layer of the OSI model. The main function of the application layer is to interface between our actual application and other layers. The application layer is closest to the end user. Under this layer, HTTP, FTP, SMTP and Protocols like NFS etc. come in. This layer controls how any application accesses the network.
