DOD Model (TCP/IP Model):-
टीसीपी/आईपी का पूरा नाम ट्रांसमिशन कंट्रोल प्रोटोकॉल/ इंटरनेट प्रोटोकॉल होता है। यह नियमों का एक समूह है जो इंटरनेट कैसे काम करता है यह निर्णय करता है। TCP/IP world-wide-web (www) का एक प्रोटोकॉल है जिसे हम इंटरनेट कहते है।सभी नेटवर्क और प्रोटोकॉल TCP/IP मॉडल पर काम करते हैं। यह मॉडल एन्ड-टू-एन्ड कंमुनिकेशन उपलब्ध करवाता हैं। इसे 1970 से 1980 के दशक के बीच US डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ डिफेंस (D.O.D) में विकसित किया था। TCP/IP मॉडल का मुख्य उद्देश्य अधिक दूरी पर कम्युनिकेशन प्रदान करना है अर्थात हम इस मॉडल के द्वारा लंबी दूरी पर स्थित नेटवर्क से भी कम्युनिकेट कर सकते हैं।

- Internet layer
- Transport layer
- Application layer
DOD Model (TCP/IP Model):-
The full name of TCP/IP is Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. It’s a set of rules that decide how the Internet works. TCP/IP is a protocol of the world-wide-web (www) which we call the Internet. All networks and protocols work on the TCP/IP model. This model provides end-to-end communication. It was developed in the US Department of Defense (D.O.D) between the 1970s and 1980s. The main objective of the TCP/IP model is to provide communication over long distances, that is, we can communicate even with networks located over long distances through this model.
There are 4 layers in TCP/IP model.
- Host-to-network (network access) layer
- Internet layer
- Transport layer
- Application layer
