Half duplex mode:-

            Half duplex mode में ट्रांसमिशन दोनों तरफ से ही किया जा सकता है, जिसका अर्थ है कि यदि दो सिस्टम half duplex mode में जुड़े है, तो वे दोनों system डाटा को send तथा receive कर सकते है. लेकिन अलग अलग समय पर, यदि एक device डाटा send कर रहा है तो दूसरा device तब तक data को send नहीं कर सकता है जब तक वह data receive नही हो जाता, जो पहले से ही transmission में है

Half duplex mode:-

     In half-duplex mode, transmission can be done in both directions, which means that if two systems are connected in half-duplex mode, both systems can send and receive data. But at different times, if one device is sending data, the other device cannot send the data until it receives the data which is already in transmission.
