OSI Model:-

            OSI Model का पूरा नाम Open System Interconnection  Model हैं। OSI model एक reference model है जिसका उपयोग real life मे नही होता है, इसका उपयोग  केवल reference model के रूप में किया जाता है। OSI model को international standard organization (ISO) ने  सन् 1984 में develop किया था।  OSI model network मे डेटा या information कैसे send और receive होगी इसे describe करता है। OSI model, किसी नेटवर्क मे दो users के बीच communication के लिए एक reference model है। इस model में 7 layers होती है जो एक-दूसरे से connect नहीं होती है। OSI model की प्रत्येक layer एक- दूसरे पर निर्भर नहीं रहती है लेकिन डेटा का transmission एक layer से दूसरी layer मे होता है। इस model की प्रत्येक layer का अपना अलग काम होता है जिससे डाटा आसानी से एक सिस्टम से दूसरे सिस्टम तक पहुंच सके।

The OSI model is a reference model for communication between two users in a network. This model has 7 layers which are not connected to each other. Each layer of the OSI model does not depend on each other, but data transmission occurs from one layer to another. Each layer of this model has its own separate work so that data can easily reach from one system to another.
